Alberta Ballet Association
Responsibility:
New promotional campaign for Alberta Ballet
Brief:
I have designed a new promotional campaign for Alberta Ballet, I used black and white photography to give a classic and timeless quality, also unlike most companies who typically present their performers in the center of the layout, showing the entire figure, I chose to crop the images of the dancers to create tension and drama and makes the viewers immerse in the intense energy of the dancers. Also beside the black and white text, I implemented some red text to create a visual contrast.

The blue dove is a symbol of Peace.I made the dove of Origami to reflect education and design. Also the bird colours are derived from the Nait logo. The asterix symbol at the right side of the word peace portrays a snowflake torepresent winter and Christmas, Also the asterix is used to call out a footnote, which in this case is the main message of the card "wishing you a joyous holiday season...".
